RENTRI 2025: second window for compulsory registration open

The second window for compulsory registration in RENTRI, the National Electronic Waste Traceability Register, is officially open. From 15 June 2025 and by 14 August 2025, the following must register:

• entities and companies that produce hazardous waste, with more than 10 and up to 50 employees;
• entities and companies producing non-hazardous waste, falling under categories c), d) and g) of Article 184 of Legislative Decree 152/2006, also with more than 10 and up to 50 employees.

With the registration to RENTRI, the obligation to digitally manage loading and unloading registers begins, to be carried out through internal management software or through the free services offered by the portal itself.
This is an important change, marking another step towards more transparent, digital and sustainable waste management.

A measure already known to operators, which aims to ensure transparency, traceability, and environmental safety, especially in a context such as the province of Treviso, where the recycling and waste transport chain is particularly developed and structured.
